Expansive study and practice of acting technique, taught from a director’s point of view.

This ongoing class provides theory and practical application of Stanislavsky techniques and other practices for authentic performance.

This class deepens your understanding and experience of technique and its application.

Weekly sessions consist of warm-ups, exercises for physical life, objectives/obstacles/tactics, and subtext. Table work and “rehearsal” of scenes and monologues to be proposed by students and/or selected by instructor.

Throughout the course, you will continue to refine your skills in script analysis, character development, and objective-setting.

Classes are Tuesdays 10am-noon.
